We usually have a range of stock for sale, from pet/sheep guards to quality breeding females. Starter packages for new breeders can also be arranged.

Besides producing luxurious fibre, alpacas have found an important role as herd protectors to sheep, goats and other animals. This is due to their intelligent, alert and protective nature and excellent eyesight. When placed with a mob of sheep or goats the alpacas quickly bond with the group. They become very protective and using their speed and size will chase foxes from their territory.

Because they require the same feed as sheep and have similar husbandry requirements, they have the advantage over other methods of herd protection.
